BT Training System

If you are seeking to improve your leg muscular power or train specifically for cycling then consider the BT-ATS indoor training unit.

The package consists of a tuned wind resistance indoor training unit that can be easily fitted to a normal road bicycle.

Also included is a comprehensive training instruction manual with information based on accumulated sports-science knowledge and experience developed during years of elite world-class level training and competition.

The Instruction Manual includes:

  • An overview of the BT-ATS and how to best use the BT-ATS.

  • An outline of aspects to consider when designing a training program.

  • Details of specific testing protocols whereby the selection of a test, the athlete can purposely target the development of energy systems.

  • Training activities to improve muscular power or neuromuscular efficiency to satisfy the demands of specific events.

  • An example of how to ascertain training intensity from a BT-ATS test result.

  • Training activity descriptions for some of the most advanced specific forms of training with the descriptions covering some short distance sprint to long distance road cycling.

  • Tables to work out test power and subsequent training power.

The BT-ATS enables the cyclist to select a range of pedal cadences including:

  • High pedal frequency aligned with individual power to improve neuromuscular efficiency and oxygen rate of delivery at high pedal frequencies.

  • Very low pedal frequency aligned with individual power to maximise muscular power.

  • A range of intermediate pedal frequencies to suit other needs including non-impact cross-training for other sports as well as injury rehabilitation.

A Cateye cycle computer is supplied with the BT-ATS as the means for measuring, interpreting and providing feedback on the generated power levels.

It is this feature of providing feedback, via the cycle computer of the generated power that makes the BT-ATS an outstanding training system at such a reasonable price.
